London Borough of Westminster: Website launched for people with mental health needs
A new website has been launched to provide help for people with mental health needs living in the London Borough of Westminster. The website, www.go4mentalhealth.com, provides a range of advice, links, an activities directory and latest news centred on living in Westminster. The A–Z activities directory provides details and links to over 70 provisions across Westminster. These include art workshops, local cinemas, fitness centres and opportunities for further education. General advice is also provided on diet and exercise, mood, drugs and alcohol, and steps to take in an emergency. The online service has been designed and constructed with the help of people using the mental health services in the borough. Funding for the project was provided by Westminster Primary Care Trust and the project was managed by Westminster Mind.
