Cambridgeshire and Peterborough: Twenty governors elected to new Foundation Trust
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust has a new board of governors after recent elections. Twenty new public and patient governors have been elected. Staff members also elected four new staff governors. Anne Campbell, chair of the Trust, said: "We are delighted to welcome our new governors to the Trust. The board of governors will have a vital role when we become Foundation Trust in June. Our governors will work alongside the board of directors to ensure that local communities and staff have a greater say in how mental health services are developed and delivered by the Trust. We all look forward to working with them." The board of governors is consulted on the future plans of the Trust. They have been elected by, and represent, the 6,500 members of the Trust. The governors are public constituency Cambridgeshire: Elizabeth Ann O'Donnell, Woody Caan, Rachel Appleyard, Julian Garner, Dorothy Heeneman, Deborah Padfield, Nik Sargent, Richard Saumarez and Bernie Gold.
